I was actually surprised at the diversity in the interest in these prints. It really highlighted the fact that Susie's work appealled to a large audience. Appreciation of her work is what she sought and you gave it do her! Thanks.

While Susie knew her fate, she also knew that it didn't have to be that way. The Trustees of the Susan E Ferry Trust are holding this auction to help fund research so that it doesn't have to be that way for others.

Susie's charity of choice was Susan G. Komen for the Cure. All of the money collected from the auction of these six prints will be donated to this charity.

Duration

The Auction will commence on 1 March 2010 and close on 29 March 2010 at 6pm. At closing, bids will be validated and winners notified.

Reproduction notes

Each original painting was scanned at 600dpi then reformatted to fill a canvas of the size indicated and reproduced at 200dpi with a high performance printer on archival canvas with archival inks. Size includes a border of at least 2" (5cm).

Acknowledgements

The facilities, as well as the material, to make these prints were donated by Hewlett Packard, Rancho Bernardo. The labor to put on the "Art Show and Auction" and create this website was provided by the Trustees of the Susan E. Ferry Trust. Pannikin Coffee and Tea in Leucadia was gracious in providing the space to show Susie's work.
